Worst. Story. Ever.

When I was in high school, my friend's mom was an ER nurse. So she tells us this story about a man and his wife who both need treatment. She has tiny punctures all over her head and he has a bloody pee pee. WTF, right? Right, I know.

So apparently this woman was epileptic, and had a seizure while she was gobbling his weiner. This caused her to bite down. Hard. The man, who panics because a)his wife is having a seizure, and b)his wife is biting his penis. BTW they were in the kitchen when the mood struck I guess, because the closest thing he can grab is a fork. In his panic, he proceeds to hit his wife on the head with the fork, thiinking this will cause her to disengage her mouth, causing the tiny punctures.

So I'm sure there are valuable lessons to be learned from all of this, but I personally just find it hilarious.

Yoga

I took my first yoga class yesterday. I'd always been hesitant to do it because I just didn't really think it would be something I was in to. But I have to admit, it was awesome.

I am not a very flexible person, so some of the positions were pretty challenging, but my friend who made me take the class with her said she totally noticed a difference by the end of the class. I felt very relaxed and stretchy when I left, but holding some of the positions made me sweat, so I know I got a pretty decent workout at the same time.

I don't know about only doing yoga for exercise, which I know some people do, but I definitely think it will be a part of my program for the foreseeable future.

Blog templates

Oh my God, talk about nerve-wracking. Do I pick the light, warm, pastel-y colors, or just go with a more traditional background? Artsy little dots or no dots? What does my blog template say about me as a person? Will people immediately judge me by it? I guess you can't go wrong with black. Pretty neutral. Actually, I tend to enjoy websites with dark backgrounds. Seems easier on the eyes. Yeah, as it turns out, we are not supposed to stare at light sources for extended periods of time. Who knew?
